Calligraphy Performance at the Walter and Elise Haas Fund 10/08/2015 Thanks to the opportunity that Frances Phillips, Director of the Creative Work Fund, provided, I had a calligraphy performance and demonstration at the Walter and Elise Haas Fund on October 5, 2015. Through this performance I used large format canvas and with big wooden pen, I wrote 3 words in Persian and Kufic script. I have recently received a prestigious grant from this foundation as the Lead Artist to work on a series of Nishapur inspired ceramics, using traditional Kufic script
